Cutting wood into small pieces : In this process ponaki wood is cut into smaller workable pieces as per the product to be developed.
Shaping: Different wooden pieces are joined to form a body, mouth, neck, legs, tails, ears.(for example horse toy) with the use of fevicol as binding material.
Smoothing: After drying with help of rough file through rough shape is obtained.
Preparing gum: Paste prepared by boiling of tamarind seed powder is mixed with saw dust. this paste is applied on rough shape to get exact physical shape and dried.
